Today's Pick: "FORE!" Four-Team Parlay (+455)

I'm definitely hoping to play some golf this summer.  I like to sneak onto the public course and play a few holes with the used seven-iron I picked up at Goodwill.  It's one of those clubs you'd find in your grandfather's garage back in the eighties.  A blade, a Tommy Armour, or a Golden Bear.  Heavier than a son of a bitch.  A solid ingot.  An iron in the truest sense of the word.

I have a four-team parlay on the line today.  I'm playing the aces and trying to squeeze some juice out of these bananas. All four picks today are based 100% on the starting pitchers.  The design on this parlay is to get a multiplier on the long odds on Misiorowski and Yamamoto.

I look at it this way.  If I package up the Rays at (-130) and the Mets at (-120), a two-team parlay pays (+219) on a one unit bet.  Add the Brewers at (-270), the three-team parlay pays (+337).  Add the Dodgers at (-370), the four-team parlay pays (+455).

On this bet, I'm getting (+118) to add Misiorowski and (+118) to add Yamamoto and I like that juice.  Stacking this parlay, I can potentially swing the odds on Brewers game from (-270) to (+118), and swing the odds on the Dodgers game from (-370) to (+118).  That's nice.

The orangutan swings around the tree tops, peeling bananas.  I am not an orangutan.  I am not a robot either.  I am human and swing a vintage seven iron.  Today, I'll try and swing the odds in my favor against the bookies' incredulous prices.

Shane McClanahan (6-2) has been the man all year.  He posted a 1.41 ERA in the month of May.  Ras went 7.0 innings yesterday in a 6-0 Rays' win.  Tampa's bullpen is well rested.  Marlins are throwing a bullpen game for the second night in a row.

NYM (-120) ML @ SDP

Nolan McLean's May numbers don't scream "ACE!" but I like McLean to turn it around tonight on the road.  He is still good for 10.5 K/9 and has posted a 1.11 WHIP in 66.1 innings this season.  Mets' bullpen is in good shape tonight.  It looks like a well-rested group top to bottom.  San Diego has stunk it up over the past two weeks.  The Padres have lost nine of their last ten games and are a sinking ship.

MIL (-270) ML @ COL

It's "the Miz" and he has been phenomenal.  A 0.23 ERA in May.  57 K's to 6 BB's over his last 38.1 innings.  That's a 13.46 K/9 and a 9.5 K/BB ratio.  Numbers are off the charts.  The odds are at (-270) and it actually looks like a good price.  Rockies haven't announced a starter.  It's likely a bullpen game for Colorado tonight.

LAD (-370) ML vs. LAA

Yoshinobu Yamamoto (5-4) starts for the Dodgers.   Yamamoto's May numbers are impressive.  2.84 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, 37 K's and 6 BB's over his last 31.2 innings.  Roki Sasaki and his splitter shut down the Angels last night with 10K's.  Yamamoto has a good split too.  Dodgers' bullpen is stacked.  Angels' bullpen is well rested but they threw their top3 in yesterday's loss.

It's a four-team parlay that pays (+455).  I feel like there is a good advantage in each game and I like this bet.  We are getting juice on Yamamoto and Misiorowski in the four-team parlay and that is nice.

Print me a ticket, Fonzie.
