Today's Pick: SFG (+115) ML @ AZD

It's been raining off and on most of the day and the wifi internet isn't coming in all that well but from what information I do have available on the Superfan Sports app, there is a game I like this evening.

The Giants traveled from Sacramento to Phoenix and open a three-game series with the Arizona Diamondbacks.  San Francisco hasn't played all that well and are in the midst of a ten-game road trip but they have won their last two and hit the ball well over the weekend.

If there has been a consistent force on this Giants' ball club, it has been veteran starter Robby Ray.  Ray (3-5) gets the start tonight in the desert.

He'll face Zac Gallen (1-4) who returned to Arizona this off-season on a one-year deal after refusing a qualifying offer from the team.  There wasn't a strong multi-year offer because, for the most part, he didn't pitch all that well in '25.  His 5.02 ERA and 1.51 WHIP on the season thus far is a rough indication that he hasn't been blowing the ball past hitters this season either.  Gallen's 6.07 K/9 is the lowest mark of his career.

Robbie Ray has been consistently strong and is the better starter tonight.  The Giants have some good hitters in their lineup.  It is just a matter of putting it together and scoring runs.  They are currently last in the league in runs scored per game at 3.51.  Arizona has averaged nearly a run more a game offensively (4.40) but has also scored two runs or less in 16 games this season. They aren't a far superior club offensively.  In fact, I like the Giants' lineup more than the D'Backs tonight.

With Ray on the mound and the line at (+115), I'm taking the Giants to win on the moneyline.  I like those odds and am pressing it all tonight.
