Pick Result: Two Aces and a Ham - LOSS

Our three aces parlay didn't hit.  Yoshi Yamamoto pitched like a Shitzu and the Giants beat the Dodgers 6-2.

We won the first two.  Skenes shut down the Rockies throwing eight shutout innings, striking out ten along the way to pick up his 6th win of the season.  Bryan Woo allowed a pair of earned runs in a quality start for the Mariners.  He struck out nine Astros on the way to his third win of the season.

The Dodgers failed us tonight.  The Giants win and wreck our plus money parlay bet.  Yamamoto allowed three homers and five earned and is a ham tonight.

I was feeling real good having the Dodgers in the late game at what amounted to (+185) with Yamamoto on the bump, against Adrian Hauser no less, but those are the breaks.  It's a loss no matter how good it looked at 9 PM.  No matter how spot on you are.  If the ticket doesn't cash it's no better than the tourist who bets his hometown team on the road in game four of a four game set.  That's always a bad bet.

Back tomorrow.  We'll see what the board has to offer us in the morning.

A tough loss.  It would have been a nice win at (+185).
