Wednesday, August 13th: No Pick Today

I looked at the games, I liked the Mets tonight against Carlos Carrasco but I'm not sold on it.  I also liked Ohtani tonight, he has a 99 mph hour heater with a sweeper and a slider.  The Angels are 4-0 against the Dodgers this year but I think Ohtani gets them tonight.  That said, Ohtani will pitch five innings at the most tonight.  The Dodgers bullpen is a wreck.  It's going to likely be Justin Wrobleski in long relief t

and while Wrobleski has pitched good lately, it's Alexis Diaz's turn and I certainly don't trust Diaz to deliver. 

I feel like passing all together tonight so that's what I'm going to do.  I have an even 3.00 units in play, I worked on my stats a little more today and discovered a small rounding error that took me from 3.08 units in play to an even 3.00 units in play.  

I still plan on racking a two units.  I'm close to my break even goal for the season, but I could grow a pair between now and my next pick and decide to press it all on my next bet.

With a six game pick streak on the line, one more win makes seven in a row and that the longest Pickstreak of the season.  It would be sweet if I hit a big winner on 3.00 unit bet, so I'm going to take my time and look for a good spot and a good price.
