Sunday, August 10th: No Pick Today

I've grinded my ax, it's sharper than a scholastic bowl champion.

I don't actually have an ax, that's a metaphor.

I've been up since 4:30 looking for a new office.  I haven't really found one so my plan is to do my charging in one location and do my Internet in another.

This will open up a lot of different opportunities.  I can charge at the bank, and get my Internet at the hardware store.  I can charge at the thrift store and get my Internet at the diner.  I will work it out one way or another.

There are seven weeks left in the regular season.  That's about forty games.

I started with 40 units.  I've banked 32 units.  I have 1.36 units in play and 8 units in my account.

I have a 47-27 record in my straight wagers.  2-3 on my parlay bets.

I had two goals for the season.  To play everyday until the end of the season.  Even the days I don't make a pick, I put in my research, read the boxscores, review all the transactions, look into the trends.  My second goal was to have a winning season.  To finish the year with more than 40 units.  I've made 79 bets this season and am up 1.36 units.  I currently have a four game winning streak on the line.

It's been a long season.  Playing this game everyday is a real grind.  I've enjoyed the picks, the action, the games and the season probably more than any season I can remember.

Back to picks this week.  I'm already reviewing tomorrow's slate and the games scheduled for next week.

Stay tuned for what should be a good week.
