Today's Pick: A Sunday Parlay

Nice win yesterday on the Astros over the Dodgers.  We managed to boost the account back into positive territory.  The evening game paid out 3.83 units and I am going to rack three more leaving me with 0.83 units in play.

I like three favorites today and am going to parlay the games for a good not great payout.

I like Garrett Crochet to mow down the Nationals on the road in DC.  The Nationals have hit the ball well of late but Crochet has been real good for Boston and the Red Sox have been hitting a little better themselves.  The Nationals have Japanese starter Shinnosuke Ogasawara on the mound making his first start of the season.  I have no idea about Ogasawara but I can't see it going well for him today.

I also like Zach Wheeler and the Phillies at home vs. rookie Chase Burns and the Reds.  Wheeler has been good for a quality start every start and Burns got nailed for seven hits and five earned in his last start at Fenway Park.  He didn't make it out of the first inning in that one.  He'll face a Phillies lineup that is as tough as any in the MLB.  I like the Phillies to win.  

Tarik Skubal makes a road start for the Tigers against Gavin Williams and the Cleveland Guardians.  Skubal aced the Twins in his last start, striking out 13 over 7.0 shut out innings.  He is tough to beat.  The Guardians don't hit all that well.  Gavin Williams has been a good three all season but he isn't an ace.  The Guards' bullpen has some good arms but they haven't been as formidable as they were in '24.  The Tigers are heavy favorites and should be with Skubal on the mound.  I like the Tigers to win.

It's three games and a three team parlay.  That's today's pick.  I'm racking three units and pressing yesterday's winnings on a parlay bet, looking to cash a plus money winner.
