Back to the Picks
I finally finished this long winded project that I have been working on. I covered all 30 teams with insight into the first half and where I think each team stands heading into the trade deadline.
I follow all the games and all the teams closely. I have a good understanding of MLB and I'm even on the season when it comes to profits and losses betting on baseball. I have a 43-24 on the season on my straight wagers and am 1 for 3 on parlays. It's a nice winning percentage but hasn't produced any profits.
My point is, as much as I have worked at this to build an edge and beat the bookies I haven't been able to. Maybe I have bad luck? Maybe I don't know the game as well as I think I do, but I put together 8000 words and covered each and every team with what I think is a spot on analysis of their current standing and their approach at the trade deadline.
I had wanted to finish sooner. I had wanted to take Wheeler and the Phillies tonight. But it's past post time and I don't make a pick unless I can put in some research and post my pregame write up prior to the start of the game.
I like Ohtani and the Dodgers tonight too. I am going to have some dinner and look into the game. I might be back tonight with my first pick of the second half.
Two months to pick some winners and rack some profits. A Pickstreak is a callin' my name.
