Postgame Report: DET (-210) Winner

All right, back to the picks and back with a win.  It was a good game, 3-3 through five innings.  Bailey Falter didn't lose the game for Pittsburgh, he gave up five hits and a pair of homers but didn't allow a walk and kept his team in the game.  The Pirate's bullpen got cannonballed.  

Carmen Mlodzinski entered in the bottom half of the sixth inning and gave up a pair of hits, including an RBI triple from Wenceel Perez.  He remained in the game for the seventh and got shelled.  Two walks, two bombs, three more runs.  7-3 Tigers after seven.  

It was an odd call, leaving Mlodzinski in the game after he had been timed well in the sixth.  The Pirates bullpen was well rested and they were only down a run.  

In hindsight, it worked out, as the Pirates were shut out by the Tiger's bullpen.  Lee, Kahnle and Hanifee each worked a scoreless inning to lock down the win.

An all around team win for Detroit who moves to 47-27 on the season.  Casey Mize wins his seventh game of the season with a quality start, Wenceel Perez, Javy Baez and Riley Greene combined for seven hits, five runs, seven RBIs and four home runs, and the bullpen didn't allow a base runner.
