Today's Pick: MIN (-110) over MIL

Yesterday you're betting against them, today you're betting them to win.  It's all about the pitching matchups.

I like the Twins today.  I think Joe Ryan has become a legitimate ace.  He has eaten up right handed hitters all season.  When I think of the Brewers offense, I primarily think of Jackson Chourio, William Contreras and Rhys Hoskins.  Milwaukee's three best power hitters should be well neutralized by Ryan and his four seamer, sinker, splitter mix.

I've been waiting for a team to blow up Chad Patrick all season.  Patrick's 72.6 AIR% (line drives plus fly balls) is one of the highest in MLB.  His HardHit% is also well above league average.  Patrick works well against righties similar to Joe Ryan, they have a similar arsenal, but Ryan is more polished and has better pitch metrics across the board.  The combination of Patrick's hard hit ball percentage and AIR% has to lead to a few homerun balls at some point this season.

Look for Brooks Lee to have a big day.  The switch hitter has four homers on the season, all from the left side.

It's going to be windy, wet and cold tonight in Milwaukee, but they should get the game in.  I like the Twins at (-110), Ryan is the better pitcher, the Twins are on a roll and swinging the bats, and we're getting good odds.  Let's put a unit on it.
