Today's Pick: DET (-200) over LAA

Only one late game on the schedule.  The Tigers look to sweep the Angels tonight and they'll have righty Jack Flaherty on the mound.

Flaherty has been nearly as good as Skubal for the Tigers this season.  He throws a five pitch mix but relies primarily on a slider and a knuckle curve ball.  The curve ball is missing bats nearly 50% of the time and is the reason Flaherty has been good for 10.58K/9IP.

He'll face Kyle Hendricks.  Hendricks came over from the Cubs in the off season and has continued his mediocre way.  He throws his changeup and his sinker 75% of the time and his fastball sits at 87MPH.  Opponents haven't had a lot of luck against Hendricks, a .239 BABIP suggests that he has gotten a lot of help from his defense, but he has a 6.65 ERA, and it isn't because he has gotten unlucky.  He just doesn't get any swing and miss.

The Tigers offense is clearly better than the Angels.  Mike Trout has had a rough start to the season and is currently on the DL.  The Angels bullpen has been scorched in the series and will likely be called on again tonight.

I have 2.94 units in play.  I'd like to risk it all but am currently 10-3.  With the ominous 10-4 a possibility, I'm going to keep 2.00 units back and bet the remainder.
