Postgame Report: Twins (-130) Winner
Twins won their 12th game in a row, a 3-0 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.
Joe Ryan aced the Brew Crew, striking out nine Milwaukee batters on the way to his fourth win of the season. Ryan only allowed three base runners in six innings of work.
The Twins bullpen took over in the seventh and pitched three scoreless innings in relief. Cole Sands recorded his second save of the season.
Sands is off to a good start this season after posting a 7.08 K/BB ratio in 2024. He is the primary setup man to Twins closer Jhoann Duran, who had pitched the previous two games and wasn't available.
The Brewers struck out 16 times in the game and only collected five hits.
Chad Patrick allowed six hits and three earned runs in the first two innings but managed to pitch six innings and recorded a quality start. Give him credit, he kept the Brewers in the game.
It's a win for the Pickstreak blog. Our call on Joe Ryan proved to be accurate this time around.
