Postgame Report: TEX (-185) over CHW

Two games in a row a dog of a pitcher has shown his best stuff in an effort to thwart my pickstreak and last night, the dog succeeded.  Sean Burke had his best start of the season:  6.0IP 3H 0ER 6K 3BB.

The Rangers really can't hit.  The White Sox awful bullpen shut them down three innings.  Only three hits on the night.  

That's the story of the game.  Sean Burke earned the win.  The Rangers have been in a prolonged slump all season.  The White Sox bullpen had a good night.  Tyler Mahle wasn't spectacular, but had he been, he still would of lost.  

I find it hard to believe that the Rangers have hit so poorly this season.  I had picked the Rangers to win the AL West before the season started.  I thought they had one of the best lineups in all of baseball.  It seems that something is amiss in Texas.  They have had some excellent starting pitching out of DeGrom, Eovaldi and Mahle, but they can't put any runs on the board.
