Postgame Report: DET (-120) Winner

It was a sweat in the seventh with the Tigers down 4-3.  Casey Mize pitched seven innings for the Tigers, allowing a pair of homers and four earned runs.  It wasn't a great start but nonetheless Mize pitch deep enough in the game to earn his fifth win.  

The Tigers picked him up in the bottom of the seventh, sending nine batters to the plate and putting four earned runs on reliever Reid Detmers to take a 7-4 lead.  Tommy Kahnle would pin down the top half of the eighth out of the Tigers bullpen and Spencer Torkelson hit his ninth homerun of the season in the bottom half of the inning to make it 10-4 Detroit 

Angels were in the game late, Yusei Kikuchi had a good start, but Detmers, for the second night in a row, was lambasted to pick up the loss.
