Today's Pick: NYY (-145) over BAL

Baltimore picked up a nice win over the Yankees in game one of a three game set at Camden Yards. Tomoyuki Sugano had his best start of the season.  Baltimore snapped their three game losing streak and has for the moment restored hope in the Orioles faithful.

In game two, they'll face lefty Carlos Rodon who starts for the 17-12 Yankees. Opponents are hitting just .163 against Rodon on the season.  Walks have been an issue at 4.5BB/9 but with an 11K/9 ratio, Rodon has avoided some of the damage.  His ERA of 3.50 could be a run better if he cut the walks down.

Kyle Gibson makes his first start of the season for Baltimore.  The 37 year old, 6'6'' righty out of Indiana is back for one more season in the sun, and the way Baltimore's rotation has pitched in April, he might stick through the summer.

The pitching matchup heavily favors the Yankees. Baltimore is facing one of the best lefty starters in MLBin Carlos Rodon.  The O's have hit .177/.257/.244 as a team against lefties.

The Yankees have a few holes in their lineup too but they have managed to get on base and score runs.  They are currently second in MLB in scoring at 5.45 runs per game.  Aaron Judge is the best hitter in the world.

I like the Yankees to win today and I like the price at (-145). With the way Baltimore has hit lefty pitching this season, I'd say the price at (-145) is off 10 to 15% in the Yankees favor.  I'm pressing all of my units in play on New York.
