Postgame Report: WSH (+120) Winner
It was a nice and easy ride tonight, Mitchell Parker kept it rolling with eight innings of one hit ball, striking out four to pick up his third win of the season. Parker's emergence is a pleasant surprise for a Nationals team that looks to be turning the corner of what has been a very long rebuild. James Wood and Keiber Ruiz each collected three hits and Dylan Crews kept his hitting streak alive with a long ball in the sixth.
The Orioles only managed one hit in the game, their struggle versus left handed pitching continues, a trend that I'll look to follow into May. Dean Kremer also continues to struggle. His line tonight: 5.1IP 11H 5ER 2HR 4K 0BB. It's not a control issue, he just doesn't have the stuff to miss bats.
My pregame analysis was spot on.
I did my research and the numbers confirmed my inclination. The story of the stats was in favor of the Nats. The odds set by the bookmakers told a different story but I trusted in my research and my analysis, and tonight it produced a winning ticket.
