Postgame Report: BOS (-290) Winner

Im counting my chickens before they hatch here because I have a play that I want to put on assuming Boston holds onto their early lead.

A winning ticket pays out 1.35 units.  Im going to take one unit off the table.  I call it the rake.  I like to rake back as many units as I can.

All my raked units are out of action for the season.  I have to rake 40 units back to break even, so its nice to bank one early, even if it is only a one lot.

Here is the play, Im going to leave my winnings on the table, .35 units, and Im going to press them into the Yankees game this evening.  I don't love the Yankees here, but its a good price at (-125). Clarke Schmitt is as good or better than Gavin Williams.  Aaron Judge is always a good bet to hit a long ball.  The Guardians have one of the best bullpens in baseball but Gaddis and Clase have both pitched the past two, and Clase got nailed by the Pirates last night for three earned runs.

If the Yankees win, I'll have .58 units to press on the Brewers tonight in San Francisco.  That's my big plus money play.  The Giants blew one hard last night, and have to be reeling.  The Brewers crushed the A's, scoring fourteen runs in the process.  I like the Brewers tonight to expose Robby Ray, who is 3-0 but hasn't been all that good.  Yankees will have to beat the Guardians first to make that play, but if they do, Im going to press it again.

Let's see how it goes.
